Two for Tuesdays ♥

Two for Tuesdays is when you will recieve 2 different tips for the day. The tips will consist of fitness, music, make-up, cooking, and more. :)

Try this killer move: lower body butt toner!!

Lie facedown on a step that has four risers on each side.
Let your legs hang off the back with your hands folded in front of you, forearms resting on the floor.
Cross your ankles and lift both legs off the floor to step height or slightly higher.
Hold for 2 counts, then lower to starting position.
Repeat 10 times.

Motivational Monday

"Fall seven times, Stand up eight."
If you are anything like me, you hate Mondays! I hate Monday because the weekend is over--back to the real world of school, jobs & diets! :)
I really need to stop allowing myself "cheat weekends." I am only hurting myself by doing this. I am pretty sure that I gained 5+ pounds over the weekend. I endulged in chocolate cake, cheesecake, pancakes, chinese food, drinks, you name it---I had it!
I need to get my motivation back. I need to remember that my goal is too look hot for the first football game. :)
The plan for today is going to be strict compared to my fun weekend!!!! It will be hard but I am going to push through it. Once I am able to get through this day I know that the rest of the week will be a piece of cake!
My Plan:
Workouts:
Walk/Run: 6+ miles @ speed of 4.2/5.0
25 lunges per leg after each mile
Weight Lifting-various workouts with dvd or online
Eating:
Shakes
Egg Whites
1 fiber one caramel bar
No carbs after 6pm!!!!
Water, Water, Water!!
Rest:
8+ hours of sleep

My First Post!!

Hey! YAY my first post!

What am I doing right now? Well, MJ is singing to me!! "Lady of my Life." OOOOOH YES~!! :)

I finished reading Cherry Bomb by J.A. Konrath last night. Guilty pleasure at its most pleasurest... Plus each in the series is named after a drink. Recipe included. ;) Start with the first book - "whiskey sour" Warning: It's not a cozy read!

Next book on my TBR list is: Swimsuit by James Patterson


I shouldn't be on my laptop blogging but I am!



♥ I have many things I need to get done before 10pm.

1. Workout-ughh it's a beautiful day so I rather tan than walk/run! :)
2. Clean my house
3. Head over to Cheesecake Factory: picking up cheesecake for my nephew's b-day celebration

My niece & nephew are visiting for the weekend :) I can't wait to see my bebes'. I spoil my niece & nephew!! Last night, I made some cupcakes that I think they will enjoy. Monkeys for my little monkeys!

So I am nervous that I will gain a few pounds over the weekend. UGGH! I shouldn't be skipping out on my workouts & eating sweets! I need to look HOT for Football season--ROLL TIDE! 1st game is Sept 5th against Va Tech!!!!
